Senior Vice President, Sales Services, SmithBucklin

As Senior Vice President, Sales Services, Tom Myers is responsible for leading a dynamic sales force that is accountable for growing client revenue through the sale of sponsorships, exhibits, advertising, digital properties, and other association assets. His team works to develop new and innovative opportunities in order to establish deeper relationships with the sponsoring companies of Smithbucklin’s clients, while also creating systems to enhance current exhibit and sponsorship sales efforts. In addition, he has implemented new forecasting improvements and developed a new measurement metric for point-in-time performance assessment.

Prior to joining Smithbucklin, Tom served as managing partner and founder of CI Group LLC, a sales, account management, and go-to-market consulting company serving multiple clients, including a premier retail technology solutions and support provider. Previously, he served as vice president of worldwide sales and service delivery for SEI LLC, a provider of outsourced retail technology support, customer service, and sales support for global companies. In his role, Tom was responsible for building and managing virtual sales, account management, marketing, and operations teams on four continents.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D. and a Master of Business Administration in finance and business policy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
