Marie-Elaine is a highly experienced and results-driven professional in the events industry. With over 10 years of experience in business development, she has consistently surpassed sales targets while offering innovative and personalized solutions to clients. Her journey began on the supplier side of B2B events, where she assisted international exhibitors with their trade show participation and customized exhibit booths. This allowed her to develop a deep understanding of exhibitors' needs, challenges, and objectives on show floors.
The dynamic and evolving nature of the event industry, particularly with the rapid expansion of event technologies, motivated Marie-Elaine to transition to working for tech suppliers. In this role, she played a pivotal part in developing and implementing technology strategies in collaboration with partners and event organizers, enabling them to achieve their goals through various formats.
Currently serving as the Director of Customer Experience at Emerald, Marie-Elaine works across multiple brands to enhance customer onboarding, customer value, overall experience, and strengthen the relationship between customers and partners. Her extensive experience on both the supplier and organizer sides of events, coupled with her expertise in technology strategy implementation, makes her an invaluable asset in assisting customers and partners in growing their businesses and maximizing the value they derive from attending events organized by Emerald.
