Jennifer D. Collins, CMP, is President & CEO of JDC Events, a company she founded 25 years ago that builds curated events for businesses to reach new audiences, make informed decisions, and create meaningful connections and communities. Specializing in categories supporting first responders, nurturing event communities, and spearheading innovation and change, JDC Events is dedicated to building events that spark change in people’s lives.

Jennifer's contributions haven't gone unnoticed. She's been honored with awards such as the BizBash 500 List of Most Influential Event Professionals, the Smart Women in Meetings Award, and the Smart CEO Brava Award. Consistently recognized by the Washington Business Journal as one of the top meeting and event planning companies in the Washington, D.C. region since 2006, Jennifer's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of her work. In addition to her role as a leader in the events industry, Jennifer is also an author, sharing her insights in Events Spark Change: A Guide to Designing Powerful and Engaging Events. Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer is deeply invested in education and nurturing future leaders. She's established two endowments at her alma mater, The American University, and actively contributes to industry standards as a member of the Events Industry Council CMP Governance Commission and a founding member of the PCMA Legacy Society.

When she is not building transformative experiences, Jennifer can be found traveling, hiking, and spending time on Cape Cod.
